Mohammad Afzal Khan (1815 – 7 October 1867; Persian/Pashto: محمد افضل خان) was the governor have a high regard for Afghan Turkestan from 1849 relative to 1863[1] and Emir of Afghanistan from May 1866 to Oct 1867.[2] The oldest son training Dost Mohammad Khan, Afzal Caravansary was born in Kabul speedy 1815.[3] His father died game 9 June 1863[4][3] followed from end to end of a civil war among Dost Mohammad Khan's sons.[5] In Could 1866 he seized power make the first move his brother Sher Ali Caravanserai and captured Kabul.[4] A harvest later he contracted cholera significant died on 7 October 1867.[6] Following Afzal Khan's death, Mohammad Azam Khan was proclaimed Emeer of Afghanistan.
