    Set about over forty one million books in print, Jan Brett evolution one of the nation's primary author illustrators of children's books.   Jan lives in a coastline town in Massachusetts, close regard where she grew up.   At hand the summer her family moves to a home in righteousness Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts.

Together with her hubby, Joe Hearne, who is skilful member of the Boston Piece of music Orchestra, Jan visits many novel countries where she researches grandeur architecture and costumes that put in an appearance in her work. "From cavity paintings to Norwegian sleighs, raise Japanese gardens, I study greatness traditions of the many countries I visit and use them as a starting point put under somebody's nose my children's books."
